Itinerary
This morning you will leave Nairobi and drive to Laikipia. Along the way you will see amazing scenery as you drive through rural Kenya where you will see some Samburu villages. (1hour) Enjoy lunch (included in tour price). Sign up for optional activities at your resort (not included in tour price); bush BBQ lunch ($70pp), guided nature walk or bird watching ($38pp), camel rides ($32pp), lion tracking ($82pp) Enjoy dinner (included in tour price). Laikipia District is located on the Equator in the central region of the country. The district has two major urban centers, Nanyuki to the southeast, and Nyahururu to the southwest. Centered around the original Laikipia National Reserve, this area has become a sanctuary for Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, and a wealth of plains game, including many endemic Northern species
After breakfast, head north towards the Lewa Downs Conservancy. The conservancy is based on 62,000 acres of land; Lewa is home to over 10 percent of Kenya’s black rhino population, over 14 percent of Kenya’s white rhino population and the world’s largest single population of Grevy’s zebra. Enasoit is taken on exclusive use and has some of the most dramatic and exquisite scenery in Laikipia. A wonderful way to spend a night whilst on safari at this luxury lodge is to be dropped in the bush by the helicopter, with your own guide either for a walking safari, riding safari or camel safari – you then end up at a romantic and comfortable fly camp for one or two nights before walking home to the comfort of this luxury lodge.

Game viewing from here is also exceptional and the comfy and inviting sitting room is the ideal place to relax before dinner or read a book. The family dogs roam and lawn, and the pool has wonderful views.
Segera was opened up to the public quite recently, and is one of the most luxurious properties in Kenya, this luxury lodge is located in an area without much game, but as a result the walking and freedom to explore here is better. Segera also have numerous community and conservation projects that will certainly leave you with a warm glow as you head off to Nairobi then back home
