Day to Day Tour Plan

Day 1: Arusha –Serengeti

After breakfast drive to Serengeti national park. On arrival, proceed to the Serengeti Serena lodge for lunch. In the afternoon take a game drive in the park, The park covers 12,944km2 of open plains making it one of the largest in the world. The rocky outcrops commonly known as Moru kopjes in the eastern part of the park are of scenic beauty and occasionally cats can be seen lazing on them. The park contains vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and other antelopes. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Wildlife Lodge.

Day 2: Full Day Serengeti Park

Breakfast at around 0900am. Proceed with morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge in the mid afternoon. The term Serengeti means endless plains in Masai language. In the central plains there are carnivores like leopard, lion, hyena and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra that occurs between the Kenyan Mara and the Serengeti. Varied bird species can be seen here including eagles, ducks, geese, egrets, vultures, secretary birds, ibis, stork, herons, kites, pelicans, cranes and guinea fowl. The Serengeti National park is a arguably the best known wildlife sanctuary in the world with over 3 million large mammals. About 35 species of plains animals can be seen there including the “big 5” – Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo. Other common species found here includes hippo, giraffe, eland, impala and other antelope types, baboons, monkey and a profusion of over 500 species of birds. In May or early June, huge herds of wildebeest, gazelle and zebra begin their annual spectacular migration northwards. In their wake follow predators, lion, cheetah and wild dogs with vultures circling overhead! Come back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti – Arusha

Have breakfast as early as 0730ma checkout the Lodge and then proceed for the morning game drive, after exploring the park in the morning head back to Arusha arriving late afternoon with the drop off to the hotel where the adventure come to and end.
