Itinerary

Upon arrival our driver will be waiting for you together with out two staffs, they will help you either to visit the Forex bureau for money exchange, there after transfer you to the hotel where you will check in and there after go through the program. Dinner and overnight in the Hotel

Pick you from your Hotel or in your residential house in West lands City Hotel, then drive to the city center where you will join other travelers to Tanzania in Riverside Shuttle Bus or Impala Shuttle. The drive normally takes not less than 7 hours, From Nairobi to Namanga border it takes like 3-4 hours and then head straight to the Migration office where you will obtain your visa. There after head to Arusha for the next 1.5hrs, there will be a short break for about 30min, here you will have lunch as you proceed to Moshi for the next 2 hours and arrive late afternoon around 1700hrs. Check in the QWine hotel in Moshi for dinner and overnight as you meet other crews who will be with you in the entire trekking.

The breakfast will be served as from 0630am to 0800am, then you will be picked up from the Hotel as at 0900am after everything is set and organized by our Guide and Senior Cook. The Fresh food and fruits will be packed as its our norm to serve every day with fresh food while in the mountain as well as fresh fruits. After the pick up you will proceed to Machame area which is an agricultural area, you will transverse the Machame Village and then to the  Machame Park Gate, The drive is steep every Km and the road is tarmacked all the way to the Gate and it normally takes 40-50min to get to the Machame Gate. On arrival you will go through the registration with the park authority as the crews weigh the bags and food as the normal weight for each bag should not exceed 20kg for the porters, this process normally takes like at least 45min depending with the number of people. The Kilimanjaro trek the World Heritage Site begins at the end of the tarmac road, walking for about 6 hrs, gradually ascending through the cloud forests of Kilimanjaro, you will be served with lunch at the lunch point which is the half way to the Camp, after lunch proceed on via the giant heather forested hills and then arrive in at Machame Camp (2850 m) at around 1700hrs. Upon arrival you will be welcomed in your tent which will have been mounted up by our crews who had arrived ahead of you to make sure everything runs as per the program, followed will be a cup of hot Coffee or soup as you await the dinner to be served in the Dinning mess Tent. The weather might be cold and guests are advise to keep warm as well as hot water bottle will be provided as you go to sleep to make your feet warm.

This being our second day inside the mountain and your bodies adjusting to the weather the Wake up call will be at 07:00am, you will be provided with hot water in a basin and there after have the breakfast, then trekkers ascend an enjoyable ridge, lunch will be served in one of the lunch point which is about halfway to shira Camp, after lunch traverse along a stream gorge and finally emerge on the Shira plateau volcanic moorland (3840m). Total trekking time for this day is approximately 6 hrs. Dinner and overnight in Shira Camp.

This will be a long day, our cook will have offered you with enough water as you will ascend several meters up and this will require taking much water to keep you strong. Trekkers follow the trail to Lava Towers (>4500m), have lunch prior to spending an hour at Lava Towers, and then descend into the scenic Barranco gorge. Continue to Barranco Camp at 3950m. Total trekking time is approximately 6 hrs.

At the look from Barranco Camp, the Barranco wall seems unbeatable but as you approach it with a lot of determination this takes 45min to go over the wall. Trekkers cross the Barranco Valley, ascend the well known and fascinating Barranco wall (not technical climbing), then follow the Kibo South Circuit. Descend and ascend again for about 2 additional hours to arrive at Karanga Camp (4000 m) for lunch and overnight. Total trekking time is approximately 5 hrs.

Another half day trek takes you across some splendid volcanic lands, with Kibo Volcano (highest of the Kilimanjaro volcanoes) and its remaining glaciers as the backdrop. Enjoy the final ascent to Barafu Camp (4673 m). Total trekking time between camps is approximately 5 hrs. After lunch and a couple of hours of rest, you begin a short trek up to Kibo Camp for further acclimatization, and then descend for dinner. Sleep until 11:00 p.m. and then begin all night ascent. The summit is attainable since you should be properly acclimatized by now.

Trekkers move “polepole” (Swahili for “slowly”) to the north-west, with mountain guides at their side, up a defined trail toward Stella Point on the crater rim. Summit day is scheduled to coincide with a waxing moon, which will be nearly full. This 6-hour trek to Stella Point (5756 m) is the most mentally and physically challenging on the route. Temperature is usually -10° Celsius, and winds can make it even more challenging. At Stella Point, the group re-nourishes, enjoys the famous Kilimanjaro sunrise, and then continues for another hour to the true summit of Africa, Uhuru Peak. Photos and celebrations ensue. A slow descent back to Stella Point, followed by a quicker descent on scree slope trails back to Barafu Camp for a well deserved rest and brunch. Break camp and hike down to Lower Mweka Camp by mid-afternoon. This is the day you appreciate your trekking poles and honor your guides and porters – you descend over 2800 meters from Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp. If weather thwarts your summit bid, an extra day has been allowed if the group decides delay is advisable.

This will be a great day, you will be entertained by the crews with the Kilimanjaro songs after having successfully made it to the top. The breakfast is served as at 0730am which is followed by 3 hr descent to Mweka Gate very enjoyable moments for the reflection, provides good views of yesterday’s accomplishment, and provides excellent photo opportunity of Mount Kilimanjaro’s unique vegetation of the cloud forest. Check-out at Mweka trail head, and then shuttle to Moshi with a drop off to the hotel as you wait to leave for safari the following morning

Pick up from the hotel after the breakfast at around 0730am, proceed to Tarangire National Park which is one of Africa's little known gems of all wilderness lovers. We will begin the game viewing at the richest vista of an endless golden savanna. You will see the Tarangire River with Baobab trees all along the river-banks. This is a well established view point, where game can be viewed ambling to and from the river throughout the day. Thousands of animals migrate from Masai steppe to Tarangire River looking for water. You might be able to see three rare species of animals; the Greater Kadu, the Fringe-eared Oryx as well as a few Ashy Starlings. The wildlife of Tarangire National Park is as diverse as its landscape, the park contains almost every animal species you can see on a safari, except of rhinoceros. The park is known for its large elephant herds, which are among the largest in Tanzania or perhaps in whole Africa. Tarangire River, large elephant herds, thousands of baobabs, greatest concentrations of game in Tanzania, great avian diversity! After exploring the Park leave to Mto Wa Mbu Camp for dinner and overnight around Lake Manyara

On this day the breakfast will be served as early as 0630hrs. After the breakfast check out the Lodge early in the morning as at 0730am, then drive to the crater, we will descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day explore game drive tour. We take a picnic lunch and this will be served in the crater next to the hippo pool, at this point you will be able to stretch your feet and visit the washrooms. The Ngorongoro Crater is recognized as a UNESCO protected World Heritage Site and forms part of an international biosphere reserve. The crater measures approximately 300 sq km and measures about 19 km across. The floor of the crater is 600 meters below the rim, (which is over 2200 m.a.s.l), and is home to an abundance of wildlife including black rhino, lion, cheetah, buffalo, elephants and a plethora of antelope species. Late in the afternoon we ascend the crater and then proceed for dinner and overnight in Mto Wa Mbu Camp in Lake Manyara

You will be picked up from your Camp after the breakfast, this will be around 0730am, then proceed to Lake Manyara for a full day game drive in beautiful Manyara National Park. You will be able to See buffalo, giraffe, zebra and many more species, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Wall. This is one of the park which inhabits a lot of the flamingos as well as huge elephants, we also have hot springs at the edge of the lake, the whole day will be spent exploring the park which will take you as well as in the hippo pool,on this day you will have your picnic lunch with you, the whole day will be maximized in the game drive. After the whole day game drive leave the park around 1530hrs and proceed back to Arusha with a drop off to your Hotel as you wait to leave for Amboseli the following morning.

The safari group travels to the Tanzania/Kenya border at Namanga, then proceeds to Amboseli National Park within Kenya. Permanent safari canvass tents with 2 beds and thatch over-roofs are serenaded by weaver birds and cicadas by day and massive crickets by night. Don’t be surprised to be awakening at night by a wondering elephant or two just outside the large fenced in camp facility.

Mount Kilimanjaro is the backdrop of this elephant haven and you will not be disappointed by this first class safari experience. You will have no trouble in getting up close and personal with the monolithic beasts of Africa, in the safety of your pop-up canopy safari vehicle

Travel day to Lake Naivasha on your way to Masai Mara. This is an opportune time to enjoy the countryside of Kenya and all its people. Part of the trip is along the Great Rift Valley with a stop over to view the escarpment. Lake Naivasha is a major agricultural production area in Kenya and a welcomed break to the day’s travel. Dinner and overnight at the Cray Fish Camp with luxurious bed accommodation.

After the breakfast, you will be Picked up from your hotel around 07:30am and then proceed to the departure point which is at the office then depart to Masai Mara Game Reserve with a stop over at the great rift valley view point. Here we normally take like 30 min as we get the information how the rift valley was formed, there after proceed to Narok Town this town is famous for the Masai people, we shall have lunch here and there after proceed to Masai Mara, On arrival check in the Lodge or Camp, then leave for the late afternoon gamed drive which will take us until 1830hrs, return to the Camp or lodge for dinner and overnight and our guide can organize for the bonfire for warming up before you proceed to bed

The whole day explore the parks amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round.The Mara's gentle fertile climate bounded by The Rift, offers perhaps the richest stocked reserve set within some 1672 sq km - an unlimited spectacle of wildlife. Located 268 km west of Nairobi, the emphasis here is on game. Herds of immense Elephants, browse among Lion, Buffalo, Thompson Gazelle, Zebra and Topi. You may occasionally sight a Rhino or Leopard but you have to be very keen since Rhinos in Masai Mara are very elusive and its not easy to spot them unlike the leopard. On this day you will explore the Masai Mara and you will have your lunch at the Mara River, this is one of the desire of many travelers as this is the point where the great Migration of the Wildebeest takes place,the annual migration of a million Wildebeest follows the rains north at this point you will also be able to spot in the Mara River Hippos play and Cross bask on the banks . After exploring the park return to the Lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

On this day you will wake up at 0600hrs have your full breakfast, then our cook will have prepared for you fresh packed food since the whole day will be spent in exploring this amazing game reserve which has become the world 7th wonders. This day will take you all the way to the Mara River where the great migration normally takes place where you will witness millions of wildebeest cross the Crocodile invested river, you will also have an opportunity to take the photo at the border between Masai Mara and Serengeti since both reserves share the common border. Spent the whole day in search of the Big Five. Then after exploring the reserve start driving back to the camp for dinner and overnight in the Camp.

On this day you will have a wake up call as at 0600am and have just a cup of hot coffee and then proceed for the early morning game drive, this early morning game drive will give you an opportunity to see the early morning hunt and the Big five making kills. Then return to the camp for the main breakfast as you prepare to check out the Park. On this morning you will also have an opportunity to visit the Masai Village and be entertained by the Masai Dance, you will also have an opportunity to buy curios and other items from the village at a reduced cost. Then leave Mara and head to Nairobi but stop at Narok for lunch, after lunch proceed to Nairobi arriving late afternoon with a drop off to the same place or in the city center.
