An early morning Pick up from your respective place at 0630am, then we proceed to Nanyuki Town which takes like 3-4 hours. On arrival we have a stop over in Nanyuki shopping mall Nakumatt as well as a cup of Kenyan tea as we finalize with the purchase of food. There after we proceed to the Sirimon Gate, this normally takes not more than 1 hour, on arrival at the gate we will have hot lunch at the gate as we formalize the entry process and payments of the fees as required by the Kenya Wildlife Service {KWS} Park Authority. After the process the walking start from the gate to the camp, this normally takes 2-3 hours to get to Old Moses which is about 3300m. Dinner and overnight in the camp
Wake up call at 0630hrs and you will be served with the breakfast as well as hot coffee and tea depending with your preference, after the breakfast prepare yourself and re-arrange the bag as we ascend the Sirimon Track to Likii North Valley, in this beautiful little valley below the subsidiary peaks of Teleki and Sendeyo, two ancient parasitic vents of the main peaks. {3990m}. Climb out of the North Valley and into the Mackinders Valley one of the broadest valleys on the Mountain, with many giant groundsels with good views of the main peaks and a brief stopover for picnic lunch along the valley on top of the cliff. After lunch we will have like 3 hours to ascend to Shipton Camp just bellow the main peak of Batian and Nelion this normally takes 7-8hrs to get to the Shipton Camp. On arrival you will find your cup of hot coffee or tea is ready as our crews always goes ahead to make sure the services are provided always on time. After refreshments you can either have a short walk for acclimatizing and then descend to the Camp as you wait for the dinner to be served. Dinner and overnight in Shipton Camp 4200m. The weather at this camp sometimes may go bellow 10 degrees depending with the climate
Wake up call at 0730am have your breakfast and then pack, leave at 0900am and ascend uphill to Simba col which is about 4610m, then proceed on a gradual trail along samba tarn to join the trail that joins to Mintos Hut from Austrian Hut. Proceed on to the Austrian Camp on time for lunch having done half circuit of the summit clockwise. The hike takes 3-4 hours. The lest of the afternoon spent in the camp relaxing as we await hitting the summit the following morning. Dinner and overnight in Austrian Hut 4,790m
Wake up call at 04:30am, have a cup of Coffee or tea biscuits will also be served but keep it right to avoid constipation due to slow digestion, then we start the Alpine ascent to the highest peak Pt. Lenana {4985m} m (17,058ft) starts at 05:00hrs, taking 1 hr to reach Pt. Lenana 4985m (the hikers summit) in time to watch the sunrise.This is the most challenging bit of the Mount Kenya Trekking and will require a strong mind and the will as well as the spirit of Adventure to reach to the summit but its not challenging like Hiking Kili at Stella Point. On a clear day you can see the snow capped summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the South of Mt. Elgon to the west and the Indian Ocean to the East. We normally get to the summit around 0600.0630hrs before the sun rise, take the photos as many as you can. After your photography and viewing opportunity, surrounded by glaciers and ice rock caves, descend leisurely to Mintos hut, 2hrs, for hot breakfast. There after descend further down for about 2-3 hours to Road head for picnic lunch. At this point your body will be gaining strength as you are now going down from high altitude to normal and your mind will be calm though might be tired for the long day walk. In the next 2 hours you arrive in Chogoria Bandas where the memories of Mt. Kenya becomes real, you will be received by our crews who always walks ahead and you will have hot African Tea or Coffee while dinner and overnight will be served as early as 1900hrs
The day will be calm and the breakfast will be served at around 0700am, after a leisurely breakfast, you walk about 10 km down through the forest to meet our driver who will drive you down the rest of the track and on to Chogoria town where we normally part ways with the other crews and we head back to Nairobi and have hot lunch on the way back arriving late afternoon with a drop off to Marble Arch Hotel for dinner and overnight as you wait for the following morning to proceed on to Masai Mara Safari
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning around 0800am after you have taken your breakfast, there after depart Nairobi and drive down the escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley, you will have a stop over at the Rift Valley View point, this is one of the spectacular point where you will be explained how the great rift valley was formed, you will also have a chance to visit the washrooms as well as you stretch your feet, there after proceed for the next 2 hours to arrive in Narok Town, this Town is famous for the Masai People who are the original inhabitant of this town before other tribes came in for the interest of business. You will have your lunch in Transit Hotel or similar.After lunch proceed on to Mara arriving early afternoon, on arrival check in the Room, after familiarizing yourself with the facility leave for the late afternoon game drive which will take you until 1830hrs, return to the Camp for the Main Meals. Dinner and overnight the Camp
The whole day explore the parks amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round.The Mara's gentle fertile climate bounded by The Rift, offers perhaps the richest stocked reserve set within some 1672 sq kms - an unlimited spectacle of wildlife. Located 268 kms west of Nairobi, the emphasis here is on game. Herds of immense Elephants, browse among Lion, Buffalo, Thompson's Gazelle, Zebra and Topi. You may occasionally sight a Rhino or Leopard. In the Mara River Hippos play and Cross bask on the banks. The annual migration of a million Wildebeest follows the rains north.After exploring the park return to the Camp for dinner and overnight.
Wake up call at around 0630am, then proceed for the early morning game drive, this will take you until 0930am when you will return to the camp for the main breakfast, there after you can visit the Masai village which is optional, as you proceed to Lake Nakuru, on the way you will have lunch in Narok, after lunch head to Nakuru arriving late afternoon, with time allowing you can have short game drive, if not so proceed to the hotel for dinner and overnight in Lake Nakuru.
After the breakfast check out the hotel and then we drive to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival you will check in and then you will have a boat ride which will take you to the Hippo Pool where you will be able to see many of them in the water as well as bird life which is plenty in this Lake. There after proceed back to the Camp for dinner and overnight in camp with a swimming pool
After breakfast, we proceed south passing through Naivasha town and drive around the southern end of the lake, past the flower farms to Else-mere . Else-mere is home to the late Joy and George A damson, of Born Free fame . This is now a conservation center and museum where you will enjoy an hour-long boat ride on Lake Naivasha, before a delicious lunch in their beautiful gardens. You can look out for some of the hundreds of bird species as well as the hippos (which you may hear at camp tonight!). During lunch you may even have the company of black and white Columbus monkeys. After lunch we proceed to Crater Lake Conservancy Area where we walk up to the rim of the beautiful volcanic crater for views down to the emerald-green Crater Lake. Flamingo populations have boomed here recently, having migrated from Lake Nakuru. With your guide you can walk through the conservancy area trekking after plains animals including giraffe, eland and antelope, while admiring the various species of birds and plants. Return to Else mere for afternoon tea, then there after head back to Nairobi arriving early afternoon with a drop off your hotel of choice
