Masai Mara is the extension of Serengeti which mean endless plains, the park contains millions of wildebeest and other wildlife, the 3 days safari will take you up to the famous the Mara river which is inhabited by the crocodiles and hippos, the great Migration takes place in this river every year as from July to October, the great migration is witnessed by millions of tourist who visit this park every year, 3 days safari is the best Kenya safari so far recorded.
Itinerary
The 3 Days Safari Starts Nairobi pickup from the hotel where you will be picked up after the breakfast. Then depart and drive down the escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley where you will stop for about 30min for photography as you get the information on the formation of the great rift valley, Thereafter proceed to Narok for hot lunch in Transit Hotel or similar, lunch normally takes one hour and then leave for Masai Mara where you will arrive early afternoon. On arrival check in the Camp as you familiarize with the Camp, then head for the late afternoon game drive which will take you until 1830hrs, you will be able to capture the wildlife as most of the grazers are always inside the Mara and you can spot them in close range, if lucky on this day you will spot as well as one or two of the big cats and lots of the Antelopes, Gazelles, Giraffes, then return to the Camp few minutes to 1900hrs for dinner and overnight.
The whole day explore the parks amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round.The Mara's gentle fertile climate bounded by The Rift, offers perhaps the richest stocked reserve set within some 1672 sq kms - an unlimited spectacle of wildlife. Located 268 kms west of Nairobi, the emphasis here is on game. Herds of immense Elephants, browse among Lion, Buffalo, Thompson Gazelle, Zebra and Topi. You may occasionally sight a Rhino or Leopard. In the Mara River Hippos play and Cross bask on the banks. The annual migration of a million Wildebeest follows the rains north.After exploring the park return to the camp
Wake up call at 0600am, have just a cup of coffee, then proceed for the game drive until 0930hrs, return to the camp for the main breakfast as you prepare to leave the Mara and head back to Nairobi ,on this day you will have stop overs on the way as you buy the souvenirs on the way. Arrive in Nairobi early afternoon with a drop off to your hotel.
