Itinerary
One the first day of the 3 days Masai Mara budget safari, pick from the hotel at around 0730am. Then Proceed for the Masai Mara Game Reserve with the first stop over at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley which is about 45min from the city center. The stop normally takes about 10-15min. Proceed to Mara arrival time will be early afternoon for hot lunch. There after you will proceed late afternoon game drive in this park, which is essentially the northern extension of Tanzania's Serengeti National Park as an artificial border only separates the two. Return to the Camp/Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Early breakfast and then proceed for the whole day game drive. You will be able to see the hippo pool where with luck you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra, Masai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vulture. After lunch proceed for another afternoon game drive as you return to the camp at around 1830hrs where you will be received by our staff with a cup of African tea or coffee as you wait for the dinner to be served. Overnight in the same tented Camp.
