This short luxury safari takes you through Uganda’s rich savanna and river ecosystems, offering an opportunity to complete tracking of the “Big Five” (Rhinos, Lions, Leopards, Elephants, and Buffalos). Starting with an early morning departure from Kampala, the route heads north toward Nakasongola and Murchison Falls, featuring luxury lodge stays, private 4×4 Land Cruiser transfers, boat launches along the Victoria Nile, and guided walking safaris.

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (and the adjoining Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch serves as the only location in Uganda where wild white rhinos are conserved and bred for reintroduction into the national parks.

• On-Foot Rhino Trekking: Accompanied by trained rangers, track southern white rhinoceroses on foot through savanna woodland.
• Wildlife & Avian Diversity: Beyond rhinos, the sanctuary shelters bushbucks, Uganda kobs, monkeys, and over 300 bird species.

Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest national park, split by the Victoria Nile river as it forces its way through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging 43 meters below.

• Victoria Nile Boat Launch: Sail upstream toward the base of the falls, observing large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and water birds along the riverbanks.
• Savanna Game Drives: Explore the northern savanna section (Buligi Peninsula) on early morning game drives for Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, leopards, Jackson’s hartebeests, and large herds of elephants.
