Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel around 0800hrs after the breakfast, then depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, via the view-point of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for Lunch. After lunch proceed to Masai Mara, on arrival you will have your game drive along the way as you proceed to the Serena Lodge, this is very important so that we can maximize your time in the park upon arrival, the Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. The game drive will take you until 1830hrs when you will arrive in Serena Lodges for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. The whole day will be spent exploring the Masai Mara plains, the day will cover the Mara River where the great migration takes place every year. You will have your lunch at this point at the hippo pool, looking for hippos and crocodiles, you will also be escorted by the rangers along the river banks for a short walking tour along the Mara River, there after you will be picked by the driver and proceed for another whole afternoon game viewing as you proceed back to the Lodge. Dinner and overnight in Masai Mara Serena Lodges

On this day you will have an early morning game drive before the breakfast, wake up at 0600am and then have just a cup of hot coffee, then proceed for the early game drive which will give you an opportunity to capture the morning kills from the big 5. Then return to Serena Lodges for full breakfast, then check out the Lodge and proceed to Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you will proceed for a Nature walk along the lake accompanied with the boat ride, this is one of the amazing experience you will have to remember for it takes you in the hippo pool. There after return to Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodges for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart from Naivasha and proceed to Lake Nakuru. Upon arrival check in to Lake Nakuru Lodge, there after proceed for the game rive until the time for lunch. After lunch you can chose to relax at the swimming pool as you wait to go for the afternoon gamed rive as from 1600hrs, this will take you until 1830hrs. Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Wake up call at 0600hrs, proceed for the early morning game drive, this morning game drive sometimes is exciting as you will be able to capture the early morning hunt from the Leopard, in Lake Nakuru is where we have huge Leopards as compared to other parks that we have in Kenya and they can be easily seen. Lake Nakuru is famous for Pink Lake often referred so due to it’s Great masses of Flamingos known for its prolific bird life including flamingo's. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline.  Then return to the Lodge for full breakfast, there after check out the Lodge and proceed for another game drive as you check out the park and head back to Nairobi arriving early afternoon with a drop off to the hotel or back to the airport.
