Itinerary
After the breakfast check out the hotel and leave to Arusha at 0800am.This normally takes us 4-5 hours to get to Arusha.On the way we normally have a stop over at Namanga,this the boarder between Kenya and Tanzania where you obtain your visa just in case you dont have one.This process normally takes less than 45min for you to get a visa.Then we proceed on to Arusha which takes another 2 hrs atmost. On arrival check in the Arusha Tourist Inn Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 0800hrs,then drive for 1.5 hrs to get to Lake Manyara. Proceed to Lake Manyara National park for afternoon game drive. A good network of tracks and roads in the park allows excellent viewing opportunities. Animals seen include buffalo and elephant, other animals present that can be seen with luck are the tree climbing lions, leopard and black rhino. Lesser flamingos and Egyptian geese are some of the birds seen here. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Have early breakfast as at 0600am,then proceed to Ngorongoro crater,this takes less than 45 min drive to the crater,on arrival go down to the crater for the whole day.On this day you will have carried with you the picnic lunch so that you can have enough time to go around the crater.You will break for a picnic lunch at the Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. All the big five may be seen. Other species encountered are cheetah, grants gazelle, Thompson gazelle, common zebra wildebeests and spotted hyena. Flamingos may also be seen at the Crater Lake. Dinner and overnight in the camp
Being your last day,after breakfast check out and the proceed to Arusha,this normally takes about 4 hours and arrival in Arusha in time for lunch with a drop off to the hotel
